Cookie policy

In short. We use only the cookies without which the app does not work — to keep you signed in, to know which group you are looking at, and to remember your language and theme. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising. That is why there is no consent banner here. Every cookie is listed by name below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They allow it to remember your sign-in and your settings between sessions. Some are strictly necessary for the service to work, others (analytics or advertising cookies, for example) are optional and require consent. We use only the former.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies cannot be disabled, because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested. No consent is required for them — this is the exception under Art. 226 of ZEKom-2 (the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act), or Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC. They are all first-party cookies, not third-party cookies, and all of them use SameSite=Lax.
The sign-in cookies (sessionId, activeTenantId, tenantSelectionLocked) are marked HttpOnly and Secure, so scripts in the browser cannot read them and the browser sends them only over an encrypted connection. The cookies for the language, the theme and the dashboard view are not marked HttpOnly, because the interface in the browser also has to set and read them.

When you sign out, we delete all of the cookies listed above ourselves.
Infrastructure provider cookies
The app runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which may set its own security cookies to protect against abuse and for the “you are not a robot” check (Cloudflare Turnstile on sign-in, when accepting an invitation and on the forgotten-password form), for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance. These are likewise strictly necessary and last from a few minutes to a few days. More in the Cloudflare documentation.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not use them. The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts, so we do not need a consent banner. If we ever introduce them, we will obtain your consent beforehand.
3. What else we store on your device
Besides cookies, the app stores some technical state in your browser. These are not cookies, but the same rules on storing information in terminal equipment apply to them:
- Local storage: whether you declined the offer to install the app, which user has a notification subscription turned on, and which view you last selected on the dashboard.
- Session storage: a marker that the app has already been refreshed once after a new version, so that the refresh does not repeat.
- Offline cache: the service worker stores some of the app's files and the offline page, so that the app opens something useful even without an internet connection. When you click a notification, the link from the notification is also stored here for a moment — this is a workaround for a bug in iOS and it is deleted as soon as the notification is clicked or dismissed.
All of this is strictly necessary for the service to work, so no consent is required. You delete it by clearing the site data in your browser.
Push notifications are the exception. They are not necessary, so you turn them on yourself: with the switch in the settings and with the permission the browser asks for. Only then is a notification subscription created on your device. You can withdraw it at any time by turning the same switch off or in your browser settings.
The chosen language and theme are also saved to your user account on the server, so that the setting follows you on all your devices.
4. Managing cookies
- Browser settings: most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted. Please note that by blocking the strictly necessary cookies you make it impossible to sign in to the app.
- Signing out: when you sign out, we delete all the cookies listed above ourselves.
